Fleet Cars

Client Overview

Fleet Cars, a minicab and private hire service running from two offices in Edgware and Rickmansworth, covering Croxley Green and the surrounding areas. Fleet Cars are a long-standing client of ours — this is actually the third website we’ve built for them over the years.

Introduction

Fleet Cars have always kept on top of how they present themselves — staying modern, staying appealing to clients, and knowing how to keep connected.

The Challenge

The real challenge wasn’t just giving the site a fresh look — it was making sure it worked for the full mix of people who use Fleet Cars every day. The site needed to feel clean and modern, but it also had to appeal to everyone who might land on it: members of the public booking a local ride, business clients arranging regular travel, customers using the courier service, families booking airport transfers, hospital patients needing reliable transport, and passengers who rely on accessible vehicles. Getting that balance right, without the site feeling generic to any one of those groups, was the real task.

Our Solution

We worked closely with Fleet Cars at every stage of the project, from the initial discovery conversations through to the design brief, and into prototyping in Figma. We kept refining the design together until we’d landed on exactly the right solution for them, before moving on to development and deployment.

Implementation Process

Since launch, we’ve gone on to build a further 26 pages for Fleet Cars and continue to work closely with them on technical SEO. It’s a relationship that’s grown well beyond this one site — we’ve also built websites for two of their sister companies, Fleetline Cars Harrow and Cabdata, and support the wider group with their Google Workspace setup. It’s exactly the kind of long-term partnership we like to build with our clients, rather than a one-off job.
