Taxi Websites

Introduction

Taxi Websites (taxiwebsites.co.uk) is our own dedicated brand for taxi and private hire website design. We have been building websites for taxi and minicab operators since 2012, and rather than squeeze everything into a single page on our main website, we built a separate site that focuses entirely on the taxi industry.

The Challenge

Our Taxi & Private Hire Websites page explains what we do, but operators want to see packages, prices and examples of work for firms like theirs before they pick up the phone. We needed somewhere to show our taxi portfolio, set out clear monthly pricing and let operators book a call with us, without it taking over the rest of our web design work for other industries.

Our Solution

We built taxiwebsites.co.uk as a standalone site that supports our main taxi service page. It sets out four packages on a 12-month plan, from £99 a month plus VAT with hosting and support included, or from £999 plus VAT upfront, and shows a gallery of taxi websites we have built. Operators can call us straight from their phone or book a free consultation directly into our calendar.

Implementation Process

We kept the design simple and mobile-first, because most operators and their customers are on their phones. Each package has its own page, and the gallery shows projects for operators including Fleet Minicabs, Fleetline Cars and Cherwell Cars. A Google Calendar booking page on the contact page means enquiries land straight in our diary, and we added click-to-call, an accessibility widget, a cookie banner and clear terms for the 12-month plan. Every page has its own title and description for search, the portfolio images are described for screen readers, and the site is connected to our Google Search Console and Business Profile. It links back to our Taxi & Private Hire Websites page here, and that page links to it, so the two work together.
